We have lived here for 2 years (in a 2 bedroom) and the majority of our experience has been very positive. To sum it up:
Pros:
Extra large garage-it is a single car garage but has enough space to fit our car and quite a bit of storage.
Awesome maintenance-any time we have had an issue, our maintenance request has been addressed within 24 hours. Just recently we had problems with our dishwasher not starting, they came and looked at it and when they couldn't solve the issue, it was replaced with a new one the next day. Also, snow removal has always been prompt, it has never been an issue, which is so great.
Fitness room- we use this a lot and the kid's play room is particularly helpful; it has large windows so you can see kids easily.
Open floor plan-this is for the 2 bedroom, the 3 bedroom is different.
Pool and hot tub- hot tub is extra long, which is really nice.
Large windows- I love the windows in the living room and bedrooms.
Very nice hard floors and countertops.
Cons:
Storage- I need to explain this. There is plenty of storage between the garage and very large walk in closets in the bedrooms, however, I would say there is a bit of an issue with functional storage. Having a linen closet would be extremely helpful, as would having a pantry or at least more cupboards in the kitchen. We had to buy a pantry from IKEA to supplement in the kitchen. (As I said, this is an issue in the 2 bedroom, I believe the 3 bedroom has a pantry).
Price- This place definitely is not cheap, but for us, the location is what made it worth it for us. It is good to know that in addition to the base rent, you pay for the required media package, which adds $90 more a month, so I consider that rent. We haven't had any problems with TV, a few times the internet has been a little slow or spotty. But not to the point where I felt I had to complain about it. Also, our rent has increased each time we have re-signed, first by $50, the next time by $75. That is frustrating when we believe we have been good, valuable tenants, but I have heard the competition to live here is great, so I guess that's why? Still, we don't like the increase every time. Or at least I wish it was a smaller increase.
Other tenants following rules-
I realize this is kind of hard to control. Still, this is a non-smoking community and I have still seen people smoking a handful of times. People also do not clean up after their dogs A LOT. Again, I know it's hard to control what people do but I wish there was a little more enforcement somehow, or that the dog messes were taken care of by management if they aren't going to penalize the problem more.
(I have to add here that almost all the people I have known who live here have been very kind people).
Carpet- kind of cheap, wish it was higher quality.
Recycling- I wish they did recycling here but they don't yet.
Those are the good and bad things that come to mind. We have had a good experience living here so far!
